Remove the Root Cause of All Your Life’s Problems!

If your inbox is anything like mine, at this time of year you are being inundated with special offers on how to make 2012 your Best Year Ever—all you have to do is invest in someone’s Road-to-Riches Glorious Goal-Setting System!

Don’t get me wrong. I am all for setting goals. In fact I spent Tuesday afternoon at my favorite Starbucks reviewing 2011 and putting in place my 2012 goals.

Maybe, though, you have been working hard to achieve SUCCESS in life, but something always eludes you—you just can't seem to make the breakthrough you need.

  • Have you wondered why most self-improvement programs and books don’t work?
  • Have you wondered why—when you try so hard to make your life work, strive to make more money to pay your bills, make your relationships more harmonious, and gain better health—you can’t quite do it?

It is NOT your fault!

Here’s why . . .

  • 99.9% of the popular books and programs on self-improvement deal only with the symptoms of life’s problems and frustrations—NOT the true causes

For example, if you have financial problems, you will be advised to take the expensive wealth-building seminars that teach you a bunch of money-making strategies. BUT the fact of the matter is your financial problems are not caused by your lack of money-making ideas, but by something deeper and more fundamental.

If you have relationship problems, people will advise you to go to relationship experts who can give you tons of tips and strategies to improve your relationship. BUT you will find that the fulfilling, loving relationship you have dreamed of is still out of your reach. That's because your relationship problems are only symptoms of deeper internal issue that needs to be addressed.

If you want to FINALLY solve your money and relationship and health problems, you must . . .

Remove the ROOT CAUSE of all your life's problems and frustrations!

If you've got a severe headache, you go to the doctor to get something to make the headache go away.

Do you think that same headache will come up again?

Definitely, because the fundamental cause of the headache remains unchanged.

The ROOT CAUSE of all life’s problems and frustrations
is INADEQUATE SELF-WORTH (ISW).

  • ISW is the feeling of inadequacy that you formed by age 5 or 6.
  • It is the part of your human personality that determines personal value and importance.
  • It is the part of your human thinking that evaluates your behavior, appearance, feelings, thoughts, and abilities.
  • It plays a more important role than any other single factor.
  • It has a lasting effect on your failure or success.

It is said that most people use less than 10% of their total potential.

What do you think is limiting you from achieving your full potential?

It is the INADEQUATE SELF-WORTH you formed at an early age.

When your self-worth is low, you have little or no energy to think, feel, and do.

  • When attempting something new, you try it once and, if you fail, your low self-worth tells you that’s the way it will always be, so you give up.
  • Because you believe your efforts will not change your life circumstances, your abilities become jammed.
  • Like a car with a dead battery, you just can’t get started.

As long as you stay attached to that early ISW, you will NEVER reach your full potential—and NEVER create the life-long success you have always wanted.

The Good News is your ISW can be changed!

And, when you boost your inadequate self-worth to a much more appropriate level, you change everything!

Here are just a few of the differences.

THOSE WITH HIGH SELF-WORTH

THOSE WITH LOW SELF-WORTH

Are less depressed

Have more emotional problems

Are happier overall

Express more racial prejudice

Think well of others

Expect to be rejected

Evaluate their own performance more positively

Perform poorly when being watched

Work hard for people with higher standards

Take personal criticism poorly

Are more persistent at difficult tasks

Are less comfortable socially

Are less prone to addictions

Are more resistant to change

How does someone increase self-worth?

Where should a person start?

To begin, it is extremely hard to increase self-worth if you have no idea what your self-worth level is at the moment.

More Good News! Consulting Resource Group has developed a very powerful tool to measure your self-worth—the Self-Worth Inventory.

Does this learning tool work?

One of CRG’s clients was using it in group settings with their staff as the last segment of their regular HR development program. Because of the accuracy of the SWI, they stopped using the tool in the final workshop before a weekend.

Why?

They found that people who scored a low self-worth went into the weekend devastated by the results. Many had been putting up a false front for years. This communication tool unmasked their true feelings.

The problem was that many of the participants were returning to life situations over the weekend—or work situations first thing Monday morning—that played into their inadequate self-worth.

As a result, the company chose to move the SWI session to one-on-one meetings with staff so they could address the low self-worth issues in a more intimate and less threatening setting.

Some of you know that the self-worth area needs to be addressed in your own life.

Let me share a few of the suggestions from the Self-Worth Inventory.

  1. Seek help from competent others. While it may be scary to admit you need help, it is far more risky and painful not to get help.
  2. Learn more about who you really are. Get a copy of Ken’s book, Why Aren’t You More Like Me?™
  3. Develop your spiritual life so you can see the big picture.
  4. Don’t try to be perfect. Understand that everything you think is not truth; challenge the parts that are untrue.
  5. Develop respect for yourself. Don’t let yourself become a punching bag for other people’s criticism, even if you think they are right in what they say about you.

Yes, 2012 can be your best year ever—but only if you build it on a solid foundation of healthy self-worth in the following areas.

  • Self
  • Family
  • Peers
  • Work
  • Projected Self

Don’t expect to see a change in your outcomes 12 months from today if you have not taken the necessary steps to improve your self-worth in each one of those areas.

Start 2012 the right way by taking the Online Self-Worth Inventory.

You deserve it!
